Joplin JV Duos 4.21.2025

• Joplin High School Tennis Courts (2104 Indiana Ave.)

• April 21st, 2025, Coaches meeting at 8:00am and play will begin at 8:15am.

• Fee: $150 per team

Format: Duos

• Schools need to bring 8 total players, and split them into 4 doubles teams.

  • 4 flights; Flight A, Flight B, Flight C, Flight D

• Teams of 2 play against each other in a set of doubles and a set of singles.

• Each dual will have each player play 2 sets.

• The team that wins 2 of the 3 sets wins the dual.

Scoring:

• 6 game set no ad, next game wins at 5-5 for doubles.

• 4 game set no ad, next game wins at 3-3 for singles.

• All matches will be played out, even if a team wins the first two.

• All teams will play 3 duals, resulting in 6 matches for each player.

2025 Teams: Carl Junction, Joplin, Monett, Willard, TBD

Please send me your rank order of your 4 doubles teams and their names by April 18th.

Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for each flight.
